Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These terms govern your use of ProjectOps (“the service”). By creating an account you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose.
The service
ProjectOps is subscription software for managing contracting work: estimating, purchase orders, change orders, field reporting, billing, and related records. We provide the software; the business decisions you make with it — bids, contracts, invoices, safety — remain yours and your responsibility.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for what the users you invite do in your organization. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Trials, plans, and payment
New organizations start with a free trial — no payment details required. When the trial ends without a plan, the account becomes read-only; your data is not deleted and remains exportable. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and can be canceled at any time, taking effect at the end of the billing period. If a payment fails, the account becomes read-only until billing is fixed.
Your data
Everything you enter into the service belongs to you. You can export all of it at any time, and you can request permanent deletion of your organization. We handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, access another company’s data, resell access without an agreement with us, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and backed up, but it is provided “as is” without a formal uptime guarantee on standard plans. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost bids. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you in the product before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on the front page — they go directly to the founder.
